Best Practices for Online Resellers and VARs
PlanOn recommends the following best practices to make the most out of selling DocuPen and PrintStik products:
- Cut-and-paste the descriptions of PlanOn products from this section of the site (descriptions differ depending on your location and whether you are a VAR or reseller). Each product has a recommended image or images. You can also include other images for that product.

Catalog placement locations
To optimize your marketing potential, be sure to place PlanOn products near other mobile solutions. Customers looking for mobile solutions will be interested to know of other products which can make them more mobile.
Place the DocuPen in the Mobile Scanners or Scanners categories. Also make sure the DocuPen is cross-marketed as an option for mobile computing devices, laptops, mobile smart phones, mobile printers or other areas that customers would expect mobile solutions.
Place the PrintStik in the Mobile Printers or Printers categories. Also make sure that the PrintStik is cross-marketed as an option in mobile computing devices, laptops, mobile smart phones, mobile printers or other areas that customers would expect mobile solutions. Be sure to set up refill PrintStik paper as well.
We have various programs to help you promote PlanOn products, including mail-in rebate (MIR) support, volume discounts, MDF support, contests and more. Please
